On the Women's Day, March 8, opera divas of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, Dubravka Separović Musović, Valentina Fijacko Kobic, Lana Kos, Ivana Lazar and Adela Golac Rilovic performed arias by many composers and duets such as Susanne and Countess Canzonetta sull'aria from Mozart's Figaro Feast, or the duet Aida and Amneris Silenzio! Aida verso noi s'avanza from Verdi's Aida.
The music program of the concert evoked the role of women in various aspects and situations in the world of opera, from humorous to tragic.
The second concert, Gala Concert of the Opera, is an exceptional musical event. It is a series of classical music concerts, held on the eve of the premiere of Orpheus and Eurydice by Christoph Willibald Gluck.
The program consisted of the classic-romantic collage of numbers from The Magic Flute by WA Mozart, Eugene Onegin by PI Tchaikovsky, The Bartered Bride by Smetana, Hoffman story by J. Offenbach, Norma V. Bellini, Macbeth, Don Carlo and Il Trovatore by G. Verdi and Cavalleriae rusticanae P Mascagnia.
The orchestra was conducted by Aleksandar Kalajdzic, and the most beautiful opera arias were performed by Dubravka Separovic Musovic, Luciano Batinic, Tomislav Muzek, Valentina Fijacko Kobic, Ljubomir Puskaric, Lana Kos, Stjepan Franetovic and Ozren Bilusic.
